Introduction:
This QA guide outlines the deliverables included with the Mossland Agora project: user-facing Agora app (mossland-app), admin dashboard app (mossland-admin), and backend (mossland-service). It outlines the tech stack and access procedures for each.
- Mossland Agora (mossland-app)
Testing environment: https://mossland-app.vercel.app/
- Connect with Metamask (Luniverse network, MOC token); new users will automatically be prompted with a registration flow and be added to the database as a user with Contributor role.
- If your user is an admin, you will see a button to access the Admin view in the top-right corner.
- Currently deployed on free internal Vercel account for testing; please specify the domain/Vercel account you intend to use for production.
- Smart contracts are currently deployed on Ethereum Sepolia testnet for testing; when creating a new proposal or voting, please switch networks before triggering the transactions.
- Mossland Admin Dashboard (mossland-admin)
Testing environment: https://mossland-admin.vercel.app/
- Connect with Metamask. Non-admin wallets will not be granted access to the admin view.
- Please provide your testing wallet address so that it can be added to the database and your user’s role can be upgraded to admin.
- Currently deployed on free internal Vercel account for testing; please specify the domain/Vercel account you intend to use for production.
- Backend service (mossland-service)
- To support end date extension by admin, the smart contract takes a fixed list of admin wallet addresses who are allowed to make changes to proposal end dates. Please provide the list of addresses you intend to use as admin.
- This is the backend service that handles REST API calls for both the mossland-app and mossland-admin applications.
- Tech stack: Node.js, Express, MongoDB
- Access to the MongoDB cluster will be handed over with the final deliverable.
- Currently deployed on free internal Render account for testing; please specify the domain/hosting platform you intend to use for production. As it is on a free hosting plan, the current backend has high latency and reboot time of up to 1 minute.
- The backend service contains scripts for running smart contract tests, deploying smart contracts, and an API endpoint that triggers the voting close for a given proposal. This uses the wallet private key which is set in ENV. Before going live in production, please prepare the wallet you intend to use to cover the gas for these transactions and set the private key in the ENV.
